changes

If there is anything that is constant in our life, it’s going to be change. And our character is being defined, by how we react to these changes. Do we accept it with open arms, do we reject it with disdain, raise our hands up in surrender because there is nothing that we can do about it? These are just a few scenarios that I can think of doing if I am faced with an issue.

most of our lives, we live in our own bubble. a bubble that contains it’s own unique sub-culture, a unique language, and even a unique identity. Time after time, we meet and would try to get into that bubble, others would even go to lengths of disrupting it or even try to prick it. On the other hand, you would meet people and you would want to expand your bubble.

stupid bubble. let me call it my comfort zone.

my comfort zone is now on the verge of having a major change. What happens in a few weeks, months, even years, I don’t really know. I look forward to the next chapter in my life. I know what I have now and I sure hope for better things in life but I do embrace it with a certain sense of contentment knowing that one day all of my earthly desires will just be a memory and I will be home with my Father.

No more pain. No more waiting. No more bubbles.

Lamentations 3:22-23 “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumes, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

a prayer … answered

It always boils down to one question. Why do people pray? In answering this, we often cite deep theological answers and what nots in order to justify why people pray. But in reality, the simplest answer is the one that makes most sense (Occam’s Razor) …

Why do people pray? Because He answers them.

One of the reason(s) why I love her is because I can pray with her.

a prayer

perze and i once prayed this:

Lord, you are bigger than the mountains. You are more vast than the oceans. You are the author of creation, and the savior of our salvation. You conquered death, and rose for your glory. How much more for our small problem? Lord, you know our desires, but i ask that all will be for your glory. Give us vision much greater than what we can see, for our perspective is so short that we can’t even see to tomorrow. Give us strength, give us greater faith, and give us peace. Most of all, may we give you glory.
