Sleep, after three years…

August 13th, 2008 | Marchesa Ababa

2008aug12 397 I’ve forgotten to mention that for the past week, ever since we’ve taken Em’s sippy cups away, she’s been drinking milk less and less. Subsequently, her sleeping pattern has changed dramatically as well.  With less and less fluids before bedtime, she’s rarely getting up to visit the toilet, hence- nights of uninterrupted sleep!

Can you imagine?? It took three years to get a whole night’s sleep without interruption.  This, however, means the next step towards independence, which is one thing that saddens me- sleeping in her own room.  This year definitely brings the possibilities now.
