Videos: Rolling over & Chatting

Some videos of our beloved Zienne:

1.  Milestone: Rolling Over:
A couple of days ago, she started rolling over, first to her left, then to her right.  Right then, I realized that she’s going mobile, so I video-ed her milestone.  At two months, beating her sister’s record, Zi is a roller.

2.  Chatty Zi:

Earlier this month, Zi also started baby chatting, when she can carry a conversation with people who get her attention (eye contact).  She smiles and coos, letting you have her attention for quite some time.  It’s always a joy during those moments when we can carry a conversation several times in a day.

ps. you can hear Ate in the background (or major foreground) taking part of the conversation. =)  she absolutely LOVES her little sister.

E: What happens when I grow up?  When I become a mama?
M: You’ll be a mama to a baby and I will be a lola.
E: No, you’ll be a mama.
M: Yes, your mama, but the baby’ lola.  I’ll always be your mama.
E: Don’t worry, I won’t grow up too fast, Mamam.
M: I very much hope so, baby.

an engagement

CONGRATULATIONS!!

After years of dating, they’re ENGAGED!

I met Popoy when I was in Rutgers, through a friend.  He became our drummer for our praise band.  I remember telling him that I had someone in mind for him even before he met Melody.  She was going to apply for Rutgers 2 years later, and as I predicted, they were a cute match.

Melody is like a little sister to me, having grown up with her and her sister.  It seems so surreal that she’s engaged because I still see her as that young girl I want to protect.  But she’s definitely all grown up.

We’ll be praying for the two of you :) .  Let us know if there’s any way we can help with the preparations!  God bless your coming marriage.

“Sweeter stripes we’ve never seen – Sparrow’s to thank for these charming sweater-knit bands, set on angles and twined into an everlasting bloom.”

This sweater tank is extremely charming and light.  Just by looking at it, you can tell it has a lot of unique personality, esp. with the central flower applique. I also love how the strips are diagonal at the sides, creating an illusion of shape for one’s waist. The material is also a great aspect because it’s considered sweater material, yet light enough to wear for spring/summer/fall. Then you can layer it under a cool oatmeal blazer in the fall/winter. I usually wear Small, but for this particular sweater top, I went with an XS in case of stretching.

honey dripped dress

“Ankle-grazing jersey slips and folds into a simple surplice silhouette.”

Fun and classy but I find it too long, being only 5’2 feet.  This pullover rayon, spandex dress is perfect for summer…following the trend of the maxi-dress. The material is great because although it’s jersey material, it’s still heavy, which feels is great because the material isn’t too thin. You feel support all throughout. It’s a little long for those who are 5-5.5 feet, but if you know how to hem, it shouldn’t be a problem. It’s a beautiful almost mustard yellow and probably the best maxi-dress so far.

I’ll tell you one thing, Pooh Bear would totally dig this dress. Yummm.

“Gold-glazed linen shines like the morning sun rising over rooftops; the graceful shape and lace placket are as welcome as a few quiet moments at the start of the day. By Maeve.”

Feminine, friendly, and flirty.

Great for summer. The fabric is so light and comfortable, with subtle metallic thread all throughout the dress. Perfect for spring and even better for summer- for the casual outings and maybe even nightly events when you can accessorize it.

I wore this to my second daughter’s dedication and received so many compliments.  My sister lied it so much that I bought her one.
